I was playing golf last night and saw Michael Owen's helicopter land and watched him hobble out on his cructches as clear as anything.
His house is right next to one corner of Northop G.C. in North Wales where I play.

Juan Pablo MOntoya's helicopter landed just up from my tent when i was at the grand prix...i think Michael Owen is more impressive tho, i met him at Anfield a few yrs ago. I have quite a few good ones, cant think of one that stand out, except Francis Jeffers is a tosspot

Nay-Nay: so good they named me twice

Spooky! Check out my post opening this thread and then go to this story.

The day I saw them was obviously the first time that they had met in a long time, judging by their opening conversation.
I saw the deal done!

Went to Spain on the same plane as the late Emlyn Hughes.
Same year this scruffy little guy carrying two plastic bags sat next to us in an outside cafe in Puerto Banus. He and his wife had a coffe then went down the gangway in the Marina and went aboard a luxury boat. Nearly did a double take when I realised it was Freddy Starr.
All the cameras were out there too one night and we were told Tom Cruise was around. He'd only have wanted an autograph so we wandered elsewhere before he saw me.
