My old man is a DJ on Smooth on Saturday Nights, for all his whispering coyness for the radioshow you should see him when we score down at the Reebok, the Okocha goal agaisnt West Ham for instance, the air turned a brilliant shade of blue.
blur and mansun are both brilliant, although Mansun predominantly only for Six - a magnificent Prog album. ...Grey Lantern is a lot better than Little Kix too.

Blurred, i'd be interested as to your favourite Blur songs not on the Best Of... are Star-shaped and This Is A Low on there? If not, there's yer starter for two...blurred wrote:An excellent choice, although a lot of their best songs never made it on to there, sadly. Anyway, who'd've guessed I'd be a blur connoisseur, eh?CrazyHorse wrote:Anyway....Currently listening to "The Best Of Blur" by I think Blur whilst messing about on the internet.

To be honest as with most bands that people have an in-depth knowledge of, a lot of our favourite tracks are ones that are never released as singles. Quite how 'Music Is My Radar' got on to the Best of... is a bit of a mystery, to be honest.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Blurred, i'd be interested as to your favourite Blur songs not on the Best Of... are Star-shaped and This Is A Low on there? As for my favourites, well there's such a different range of styles of song that it depends on my mood. This is a Low would certainly get up there, and their performance of that at Glastonbury when the sun was just setting over the horizon is one of my favourite ever performances of theirs.
Can you ask him when Smooth are going to start playing jazz again, and to get them to bring back the Hed Kandi show!!!Dr Hotdog wrote:My old man is a DJ on Smooth on Saturday Nights, for all his whispering coyness for the radioshow you should see him when we score down at the Reebok, the Okocha goal agaisnt West Ham for instance, the air turned a brilliant shade of blue.
