Hello ladies and gentlemen
Hello, my name is John, don't ask why it says Minibus.
I have followed Bolton for 20 years or so now (typing that makes me scared!), but unfortunately our recent success has coincided with me moving away from the North West and not getting to see as much as I would like! I'm currently living in Brum, not that far away I know, but my car is long gone and my pittance of a wage and gf commitments combine to limit my trips home!
Anyway, been lurking (as I think forum terminology goes) on this and other boards for a while, only occasionally posting. Won't be able to do much during work's time either at the mo, as they are monitoring internet usage properly for once!
High hopes for the rest of the transfer window... because if a couple of decent signings don't come through the door I reckon I'll have to get in training and blag Sam for a trial!

Thanks again for the welcome!
A couple of other exiled whites in the area, I see. Pity most of the other teams in the midlands are so crap these days and got relegated / didn't get promoted, less local games for us to see Bolton in the flesh. I don't think my eyes can't handle another season of watching Chinese streams, although there seem to be another couple of new programs available, maybe it will have improved. Or maybe I'll stop being a tight-arse and watch it on Sky in the pub.
Anyhow, it's less than a week away from the start of the new season, but it doesn't feel like it. Perhaps it's because of the ropey pre-season and lack of replacement players coming in. I'm hoping that I'll wake up Dallas-style, the World Cup will have just finished and there will be plenty of time to bring in half a dozen world-class players.
