Deleted so as to keep minds on golf.

Have a good game lads. I hope the weather stays ok for you. Wish I could be there.

The weather was alright in the end - I think a couple of the northern nancies got their waterproofs and umbrellas out at one stage, but they obviously breed us a bit harder down in Kent.
I'll avoid any mention of any scores or trophies, but it was a top day and I really enjoyed our four-ball. Good to meet all you lads, and thanks again to Bruce and Ratbert for the lifts - definitely owe you chaps a pint or two at an upcoming Liverpool v Bolton game (in fact, given Bruce's curse on away travel, I've offered him a few pints if he comes to the Anfield game!
)
I'm off away now for a few days (Kiev for our quali 2nd leg against Haifa), so I'll come back into the fray some time on Thursday and see all the fallout from this. Sadly I believe my visage was captured on one or two camera type photie-graphs, which is not good, so don't let your kids see any of them.
Cheers chaps, and big thanks to Commie for organising all of this. We shall have to do it again soon (handicap alterations pending

with regards to scores or trophies all i'll say is its no fecking suprise that Blurred is posting first!
and those northern nancies with waterproofs and umbrellas, well lets just say a little bit more local knowledge and you may well have reached for yours as well
I've finally picked the toys up and replaced them in my pram - I'm gonna play off the same handicap as you bunch of bandits next time!!

Well, I'm being the honest one. No complaints on the handicap, the clubs, the weather, the company or the course. I just played crap, end of. One of those days.
I'll be better prepared next time. I'm saving up for a set of "knock em a mile, keep em straight, wind and rainproof super clubs" and a "can't miss" putter. Six Lesson from Jack Nicholas and I'll be ready.
All in all, a good day played in good spirit. Well done all.
