Fancy a kickabout?

Fancy a kickabout?

Post by SimonP » Wed Aug 23, 2006 2:21 pm

Hi

As you can see from my "custom title" I'm an Evertonian - but no need to ban me just yet!

We play each other on November 18th at Goodison Park, and as you're quite local (ish) we wondered if you fancied a kickabout on Stanley Park (where your coaches park, in between the main car park and Goodison)

My website played a side of Liverpool fans last week, and won 7-3, so naturally we think we're the best in the world and want to take on anyone we can!

You can see pictures of the day here

If you're up for the challenge, and can get together 11 willing victims, I mean players, then drop over to the forums on the site in the link and let us know you're up for it - or you can leave a message here, I'll check every now and then!

Bruce, I'm hoping a kickabout is an informal pickup game of football and not some riotous event involving bovver boys and hobnail boots. Si, opposition fans are generally welcome here - we have two resident scousers and some on and off mackems. Since I'm one of the foreign brigade I cannot join in your entertainment but will follow the event with interest should it come off.

Not so sure about this. 'Gerrard' in this picture looks like he's about to be the filling in a boot sandwich...

Mate, you can forget it - I've tried to raise a 5-a-side team on here before without any joy.

we're quite happy for friends to come along and play too - as long as they're not Premiership footballers (we don't class Lee Carsley as a Premiership footballer!) :)
