If there was any film that was worthy of a bump to this thread, that was it.

There is a hot chick in that movie.

Went to the cinema on Sunday and saw Weatherman. It simply tells the tale of this TV Weatherman (incredibly) who's career goes forward whilst his home life is going backwards.

It's certainly pleasant enough, ok to take out on DVD if you fancy watching a film for the sheer Hell of it on a non-footie night, but I wouldn't advise you to rush out.

It's one of those where at the end you're expecting something dramatic to happen that just doesn't. 6/10

Syriana = confusing pile of festering shite with some nasty bits.......finger nails being pulled out one by one... :vomit:

So says Mrs. Plods.

I saw George Clooney featured and went the other way.

went to see Date Movie last week (what a load of crap!) and saw Weatherman trailer - looked like the most utterly pointless film ever made.
Scary Movie 4 looks quite good, but then so did the trailer for Date Movie and i was bored stiff, there were only 2 or 3 really funny bits and the rest was b*llocks!
Not sure about the Alien Autopsy thing with Ant and Dec, looked like that could go either way, ill probably go see it anyway even though I hate them! at least if they're acting they may be less annoying
Nay-Nay: so good they named me twice

Come to think of it, I never did get round to watching Syriana following Plodder's short but sweet review.

Anyway, anybody seen anything good recently/know of anything good coming up? It still always seems like there is feck all on at the cinema these days.

Haven't been t the cinema in ages, though I am determined to see 'Snakes on a Plane' - anyone watched it yet?

And Syriana - worthy but dull beyond belief. Don't watch it if you're tired.

I see that America has now hi-jacked another of our classics in The Wicker Man. That's another one that I'll be filing alongside their crack at The Italian Job in the Cheeky Bastards file.

Just you lot even thing of doing The Railway Children or Oliver and I'm coming over!!!

Ferkin terrible. Some great actors in myopic roles. Awful stuff.
Watched it on DVD for the first time tonight.

It had its moments, but it didn't really do it for me, Batty.
