I didn't watch the penalty, just looked at the advertising board behind me head and waited for the roar.

The fact is, for all the shite performances yesterday. I was over the moon walking out of the Reebok yesterday. Entertaining football doesn't make me feel like that. Points do.

Points .... points until we've got 40 & should be clear of relegation.

Then points ... as we move to European places ... then points to ensure that ... then points to see if we can get to a Champ League place.

Also, given that a club gets £500k per place in the league .... well, er ... points.

£500k = 1,200 typical season tickets.

Did you think the football was great under Coyle last season? Cause I don't. Shit Football. Shit results. Mutually exclusive?

This was the Watford game iirc, one of worst afternoons of football I remember us playing under Allardyce.

entertainment.
points come and go- some seasons more than others and probably irrespective of how "entertainingly" we play. that's our lot.
but i prefer to ,you know, enjoy what i'm stumping up my hard earned and investing my Saturdays/Sunday etc for .

What's entertainment? Don't remember much of that over the last 10 years.

Ultimately winning and getting points is entertainment in itself. Those who would rather watch us play good football and lose every week, than grind out 1-0s should probably go and find sommat else to do.

Football is about winning.

I'd dearly love to be entertained along the way, but given we can just about afford cloggers who can occasionally kick straight, I'll settle for points.
