theyll declare on about 650
then , i 100% guarantee, our openers wont even make 50 between them
all out for about 380 i reckon
we's gonna get foookin murdered
It'd be nice to see what our boys can do when we (hopefully) get a bat. The Ashes aren't going to be lost on the first day.
C'mon boys.

Indeed it is a batting paradise.
S K Warne c G O Jones b S J Harmison 17
B Lee not out 43
S R Clark b A Flintoff 39
G D McGrath not out 8
These are the bunnies of the Australian team - over 100 runs between them.
Now:
A J Strauss c M E K Hussey b G D McGrath 12
A N Cook c S K Warne b G D McGrath 11
I R Bell not out 13
P D Collingwood c A C Gilchrist b S R Clark 5
K P Pietersen not out 6
Three top order batsmen with a grand total of 28.
I truly trust that Pietersen and Bell can both run up double centuries. If they don't it'll all be over before lunch on Sunday.

bloody hell, you're not too far off there. though what's this unrealistic shite about us reaching 380?cowdrill wrote:i can see whats coming...

it's really frustrating that we've bowled poorly on a pitch which already favours batters and then we've batter poorly and a pitch that even at the end of the second day is in their favour
ridiculous
I think it's the formation that's all wrong... I mean, eight slips and two gullies is the way to get the best out of our star man Harmisonhisroyalgingerness wrote:well, as i'm not there, i don't care about the entertainment, i only care about the result
and we're not getting the results
therefore its duncan fletchers fault with his 90th over substitutions

Well as predicted it looks like Dunkirk all over again and a massive win for Australia in Brisbane.FaninOz wrote:As to the result of the series? Well the walking wounded may have a typical back to the wall Dunkirk Spirit approach and spring a few surprises.
To keep the interest of the Australian public alive and the sponsors happy the Australians will have to let England win one of the early Tests, so expect to see a massive win for them in Brisbane, a narrow win for England in Adelaide and then it will be game on for the rest of the series. I hope
So I hope that my other prediction is right and that they let us win in Adelaide or Perth
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED
i bet you an imaginary £50 we dont reach 380 in this first innings!?hisroyalgingerness wrote:bloody hell, you're not too far off there. though what's this unrealistic shite about us reaching 380?cowdrill wrote:i can see whats coming...
