Still in the Champs league and likely to have his waiters apron dragging in the same gravy next year..hisroyalgingerness wrote:person most worried about the pardew events? could it possibly be Rafael Benitez? No Premiership trophy this year and as tough a 3rd round FA cup draw as you could ask for
As against every chance in the Essex senior floodlight league plate and a real possibility of relegation and the loss of the Bumper satelite dish harvest...
Hardly comparible [camparable? campervan]
Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham

Is he good enough? I thought he looked OK last season; box to box player, enough skill to beat a man an pick a pass. This season, like you say, he dosen't look bothered.warthog wrote:According to the Shammers fans he's been trying to do that since the start of the season. If his dip in form is down to his attitude, then I cant see anyone spending the 5+ mill that he'll probably cost...

Someone should tap him on the shoulder and have a word.

that he is a wife shagger. (again, I make it clear that I am not suggesting in anyway that he has shagged anyone else's wife and he's the bloke where her husband has found out and tried to sell his story to the press but had a court order block him from doing so)cowdrill wrote:can someone tell me what the 'rumours' are concerning Pardue?

Have I missed the point with Alan Curbishley???
I appreciate that he got Charlton in the prem and kept them there without the cash to splash. But then nothing.... No cup finals, no trips to Europe and him and Charlton would start brightly and fizzle away. Whilst I know that for West Ham to stay in the prem this season would be exactly what they were looking for, but I guess he just seems so safe for the club who is massssiiiivvvveee
I don't really care either way, but I was just a bit suprised that it wasn't someone more high profile (Sven) but saying that I don't know who they could get with massive of experience and who is out of work (Sven)

Sven didn't want the job. If I was being paid £13,000 a day by the FA for doing naff all, I wouldn't bother either.Gertie wrote:Have I missed the point with Alan Curbishley???

Curbs had money to spend at Charlton. Not mega bucks, but more than Sam has had, at least until buying Anelka. Yet Charlton looked very poor at the end of last season. We were 3-0 up in half an hour, before taking our foot off the pedal.
Maybe his appointment is a sign that Wet Sham won't have as much cash to splash as their fans are hoping.
