West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

P*ssing rain? Damp but not a downpour.

Possession ? Leave it to demons, we need goals.
Omniscient? Thought you were "omnipotent"
as a god, and the Almighty, one would hope your Lord is capable of omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience - being capable of all things, in all places at all times and knowing all.
Are you related by any chance?

I just trawled through that thread, Zulu, and cannot really find much to criticise. As best I can see most of them are just about reconciled to relegation and the odd one or two think that the London press journos are all 'ammers at 'art. Maybe they are and maybe they aren't but, after all, WHU is a London club - well, one of 'em - so you can expect them to receive more coverage than Bolton, Birmingham and Blackburn.

Surely their rants are no worse than those that appear here from time to time? :|

The media don't love West Ham.

I did enjoy this post:
i don't know about us being perceived as a big club, but west ham are possibly the country's biggest underachievers, which makes us pretty loveable (well, we are, aren't we?) to neutrals. i don't know about this "everyone's favourite second club" stuff, but certainly it appears that outside of london we're not really that detested and although you might get your leg pulled for it, saying you're a west ham fan carries a certain kudos for some reason (knowing about football, how it should be played, blah, blah...possibly). this added to the fact that west ham are sometimes such an unmitigated disaster both on and off the field means that the interest is always going to be big (it's also good for clichéd eastender/soap opera references).

I was sure he must have. You surely can't write that and not intend it to be tongue in cheek??? You can't write it and not think, "what I've written completely supports point I'm trying to argue against"????????

West Ham - nice people of the highest order.
