West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Wicked.

I shall PM FD and see if we can put the wheels in motion. I bet a good number of the chaps would be up for this.

Goodun. We need to know what size of buses he can get hold of, and how much it'll cost for a there-and-back, and we can take it from there. Keveh's got a Paypal account (if he doesn't mind collecting the money) so everyone pays in advance. Then we just need to nominate a meeting place and off we go. I'm looking forward to it already. :D

Sounds good.

If we can get perhaps 10 on board it should be relatively cheap, or we could just all take the Megabus down for a quid.

Can anyone make a rough estimate of cost?

No idea.

Club coach is £25 so any saving on that would be good.

Aye, plus am I right in thinking the TW West Ham Relegation Party Bus would allow booze? :pissed:

I think the moment of the weekend should be Matthew Etherington shielding the ball when 1-0 down!!! ..and West Ham wonder why they're struggling :D

West Ham's Marlon Harewood was cornered by a group of angry fans as he drove away from Saturday's defeat against Watford - in which the striker missed a penalty. (Daily Mirror)

The thing I don't understand about West Ham is that they are presumably now gearing up for a season in the Championship but they are spending ridiculous amounts of money on ordinary players then if you believe the press allowing them escape clauses in their contracts if they go down . Is there some logic in this that I am missing ?

You're missing the logic that West Ham are too big a club to go down.

They are desparate to stay in the division ... as is every club, given the next financial disparity coming from next year. The trick is clearly to be in the top division when this new season begins.

Plus, of course, since the season began they have new owners ... with new money. And, also now, a new manager, with new ideas & his own player preferences.

The owners clearly have no faith in the team the club started the season with.

That team has got them into this mess & so the view is they need to get some new 'top' players in to get them out of it ... with escape clauses in case they go down ... clauses which probably suit both parties.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
