West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Absolutely the man for the job. The big horrible b*stard. Get him in ASAP Eggy.
We were rumoured to have approached him when Roeder was removed.
This bloke has turned Bolton into a serious side but he will never get them any further. They just don't have the fanbase. A lad i know works with a season ticket holder over there and he reckons they can take a mate for five quid 'cos they can't fill the place(no wonder, its a shithole by design). Even going to reduce season tickets next term.
He's ripe for picking IMO. Smart enough to get us out of the cocopops and take us to Eggys dreamland.
I can't be doing with the bloke, but time is right for some radical thinking.

Money talks, and for a change,we seem to have a load to spare!

Arrogant, deluded tossers.
its as if eggy would just have to ring sam and he'll be there like a shot

they must think working with a club in the championship with a kneejerk chairman, a dodgy argentinian not even owned by the club and a set of fickle knuckledraggers for fans is appealing

West Ham could have points deducted as the Premier League investigates the signings of Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez. (Various)

etherington would be worthwhile getting in, good natural left foot and a good cross.

i don't think any of them would move up north to be honest

I think everyone can make a mistake, plus we could now get him for pennies and on a lower wage.

Think of it like this. Davies gets injured next season and is out for three weeks. Who would you want coming in Benayoun or Stelios.

I'd like to have Benayoun in the side, because we would be getting quality for next to nothing, which would mean we wouldn't have to worry about any of our main three missing games as much, and we could also save money to spend on the top quality creative, pacy midfielder I'm sure Sam as his eye on.

You bloody listening Sam!!!!!

Tevez, Yossi, Ashton, Harewood, NRC, Ferdinand and Mullins all coming to the SoL to play for us next season.

Mullins as we need someone to laugh at.

Blimey ... must be a while since you were in Division 3 (old money).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Tevez over Benayoun for me, just the sort of player Sam thrives at getting back to his best - totally unrealistic though!!

Realistically though, Ashton in an instant

None of the rest

I have a good view of Ashton also, but Sam had many chances when he was at Crewe & didn't take them.

Interestingly the KUMB site, when not being all 'cheeky-cockney chimney-sweepish' or downright abusive, has a debate on him. They clearly rate him ... he's done no wrong for them ... but there is a view that as he's not that fast, & as he's a target-man ... it means their whole form of playing is dictated by his presence & it prevents a flowing game.

Don't we have someone like that already ???

Tevez will do well at a decent club. I wonder how much his valuation has been affected by his time with the Shammers?

Ashton's overrated for me, our defenders have handled him easily in the past.

Benayoun's a good player but he might not fit in with our style. He'll also be required to apologise to every Bolton fan for being a twonk and turning us down before.

The rest you can keep.

The TBH linkes was the thing that tempted Benayoun the most IIRC? And he aint here in the summer! So can;t see it myself, he will go to Fulham or Pompey.

They're talking about voting him Player of the Season aren't they?

We do but he's getting no younger and as we know he works so hard that it could be a case of a shorter career than most.

It might surprise you to learn he's only 23.

I'm not a fan myself. He's ok if given plenty of space, but the better defenders close him down. He's not got much pace either.

Meant SKD getting no younger, I knew Ashton was young, thought about 24 but I'll take your word Warty.

the local media keeping things in perspective
For every West Ham United supporter, events at Upton Park this season have been like witnessing the gang rape of someone you love
