West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I don't think so since that issue is on their site and the article above on the Olympics is legit. Must be photoshop.

Realistically though, Ashton in an instant Agree.

None of the rest
I have a good view of Ashton also, but Sam had many chances when he was at Crewe & didn't take them.Interestingly the KUMB site, when not being all 'cheeky-cockney chimney-sweepish' or downright abusive, has a debate on him. They clearly rate him ... he's done no wrong for them ... but there is a view that as he's not that fast, & as he's a target-man ... it means their whole form of playing is dictated by his presence & it prevents a flowing game.

Don't we have someone like that already ???
Sam tried to sign Ashton from Crewe but couldn't raise/justify the £2m asking price.

I think Ashton will b one of the ones they will try and keep, have to twist his arm with a northern life and premiership fotball. Even then though he is English and will cost lots.

Is Aston really worth all the hype? Am I right in thinking he has yet to have a full season in the premiership? And lets not forget that he hasn't played a single game this season.

I wouldn't say Ashton is an attractive purchase for any club at the moment...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

he got relegated with a poor norwich side after joining them halfway through the season and played a big part in nearly keeping them up when they looked dead

as has been said he's one person who can't be blamed for the awesome err i mean terrible things that have happened at upton park this season

he'd be a good buy but if we bought any big name striker you'd wonder which of the 3 he'd displace, he's better than davies imo (flame on) but davo has just signed a nice new contract, and anelka and diouf won't be kicked out of the team for him

and then there's the injury worries

Great quote from Curbs along the lines of "A points deduction would be disastrous for us." No shit, Sherlock?

Never mind, it'll give them all something to blame.

The rule breached states: "No Club shall enter into a contract which enables any other party to that contract to acquire the ability materially to influence its policies or the performance of its teams in League Matches or in any of the competitions set out in Rule E.10."

Well, the Argentinians certainly influenced the performance of the team - they sucked from that point on but I'm not sure that was the intent of the rule.

And meanwhile the eel munchers fiddle whilst Rome burns. They are debating the fact that their kit next season will be supplied by Umbro.

I have been reliably informed by my Umbro contact that there will be some minor adjustments to the home shirt that has been shown. The sleeves are set to be less 'jazzy'.

That's right, and they won't have Premier League badges on them either.

The new away kit should look good at Glanford Park next season.

Aw c'mon guys this is not funny. Points deducted after the season that WHUFC have had, is a real crying shame.

I can just imagine the deluded muppets convincing themselves that their eventual relegation will have been completely down to the points deduction (should it happen), and not down to them being woeful all season.

I love how the media are clamouring round to condemn them. after all, a premier league club allegedly breaking the rules, that's gotta be worth a panorama special right?
