Actually the same thing happened to (former) Montreal goalie José Theodore, when he was being considered for Canada's Olympic team in 2006.

if he had agreement that he could use it, what's the fuss? Tis all bollocks. No drug is a miracle to performance. Let them all take what they want, it's their bodies let them make the choice.

What's the difference between taking a US athlete taking a banned drug so he can trained harder for example and an Ethiopean athlete training at altitude? Both facilitate physiological change through training not improve performance on their own. No drug can make you a technically better sportsman, they just change you ability to train and react to that training. You can't take a pill and become a better footballer, if there is please buy Stelios, Henrik, RVT, Nolan and Nicky Hunt some.

Science can be applied to all other aspects of sport - equipment, clothing, performance assessment you name it, so why not on physiology?

Borriello at Torino was banned for 'using' a drug in Italy - apparently his porn star missus used some kind of knob cream to soothe his dick after they had a sesh, and it contained a banned substance

It seems that Lazaridis suffers from a form of alopecia and requested formal approval to use the medication which included the banned substance. Untreated, the condition he has is liable to drive the sufferer potty due to excruciating itchiness of the scalp. I am given to understand that the level of the 'drug' involved within the medication, while a masking agent in itself, is not of sufficient level to disguise the use of the prohibited substance.

My advice is that Lazaridis applied for the approval in November of last year but red tape and other bureaucratic niceties delayed approval (which I understand was given) for some months.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Didn't they get to number three in 1979 with "Baby, your love is a hole"?

He should stop moaning and get on with it. Our captain has said in BEN that he'd like another Red scalp on Saturday, so I don't see why Lazaridis can't grin and bear it.

Tee hee, LGM.

Trouble is it's the Reds (N.A. Indian ones) who used to scalp the whites. It's all a bit of a worry, especially as - given current form of both teams - I can't see this game being much different.

Right, enough of that: back to drugs, sex and kickin' balls.
