Of course its wrong. Look at it from your side of the fence.
Imagine Bolton actually beat united at the weekend with a late but blatant penalty won by Diouf where Bolton deserved the win and Diouf played brilliantly then all some nob of a journo wants to do was brand Diouf a cheat in a post match interview on live TV... Big Sam would go fooking ape shit.
You could maybe understand it if there was actually anything controvertial within the game but that penalty was as blatant as they get nowadays and Shreeves decided he'd try and up his name by jumping on the Ronaldo bandwagon and trying to be contraversial.

This is the game I want to see this weekend.
Belgium goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen has told Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo he will "have to leave the pitch on a stretcher" after being "massacred" during Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier. (The Sun)

biased nonsense. He usually gets results by "another" method? That would be putting attacking, highly entertaining teams on the pitch then? When Utd have done badly, usually their football is less entertaining too. You don't have to like the guy, but you can't fault his record or methods. Rafa or Arsene he is not.TANGODANCER wrote:He's a good football manager in that he consistently gets results, one way or another (usually another). As for the rest, the post title is pretty accurate. Unless this was lost in translation I suspect this guy will have to explain himself. Fair enough to say he'll "have a tough game" ... but to predict that he'll go off on a stretcher ??Zulus! Thousand of 'em! wrote:This is the game I want to see this weekend.![]()

Mind you ... bring it on !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
