We've got half of the bloody detainees thinking there on a bloody reality gameshow like performing monkeys? When they were captured all the "experts" were like -"oh yes they'll have had training in dealing with interrogation by special forces". I think I read somewhere none had received that training, not being special ops types. My guess, and it is purely that, is that they were told that England had actually acknowledged that they were in Iranian waters. If they anything like me as a soldier, not being an officer, I had no idea where I was most of the time. I suppose the truth will emerge eventually. I guess name rank and serial number apply during a war, not an "international incident' where no state of war exists.

That's all very well when everyone plays by the geneva convention, but when your dealing with headcases that stone woman to death for having sex outside marrage, and execute people by very slowly sawing their heads off while they are tide up, you can be forgiven for playing along.

Besides, Officers are given secret words and phrases that give British intelligence a very different message!

Sorry sotwa but that's just BS - this is about propaganda and having a british officer stood there saying " we're dead sorry that we encroached your waters" is not helping the cause one litte bit.
