West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I think he'll do well for you too if he can recapture his Charlton form, and if he can then I'd have him in in place of Fat Frank next to Gerrard for England, but I think that £8.5m is a little steep at this stage. Wouldn't you be happier to have tied a chunk of it in, related to success? :conf:
You would have him instead of Hargreaves?
Well that would depend entirely on the formation, and given the present formation then yes. Did you not guess that?
I was just shocked that anyone would pick Newcastle reject Scott Parker over a man who has been a regular at one of Europe's top clubs for a considerable period of time.

Without going into to much detail Daxter. Think of Hargreaves as England's Campo and Parker and England's Speed.
But Hargreaves can run can't he :?

You have a short memory, Daxter. Let's not forget that most of the country had realised that Hargreaves is utterly fecking useless as a central midfielder, but then realised that in front of the back two, Hargreaves seems to be the best in the world. As such, I'll refer you back to my comments re- it depends what formation we happen to be playing! :conf:

Well I can see why you would be positionally comparing them and stylistically in the case of Parker and Speed but I would venture as far as to say that Campo and Hargreaves are completely different players. Campo is more your stay at home holding player who loves to get on the ball and spray the passes around(when it works it is beautiful, however to many times last season it didn't) and Hargreaves is the type of defensive player who will harry and hustle for loose ball and when he does get it, he will more often than not play it simple(although he has occasionally gone on the odd surge forward) ala Gattuso.

Right, should England play the same formation as Bolton, Hargeaves would play in the same area as Campo were as Parker would play in the same role as Speed. Leaving Gerrard to play in the same role as Nolan.

I'm comparing positioning, not how they play it.

Has this been posted elsewhere?

Anyway, Sheff Utd reckon they've got a great chance of being reinstated back to the prem. :?

There is talk of maybe an extra team being in the Premiership. Hey, just as long as we see West Ham playing in in the top flight next season, eh?

heard this on the radio yesterday, utter nonsense. The guy's talking out of his ass. IF the independent commission find agaist the FA's decision they may have a chance, the fact the odds of them finding against the FA are feck all, seems to have escaped him.

You'd think/hope that he knows something the rest of the world doesn't, otherwise he's just going to look an arse. What would happen to West Ham and the 64 players they intend on buying then?

Somebody doesn't like West Ham.

A badly written, deeply flawed article, but it's caused outrage amongst the 'Ammers.

Warty's right it's a crap piece irrespective of the facts. I mean he's referred to them as "fagins" a term as much confered racial overtones as many these days.

We believe that Mr Rahman's article was both ill-informed and insulting. However, we feel that the best way to counter views of this nature is to deal with them in a sensible and reasoned manner. Physical and verbal abuse forms no part of such a process and will only serve to weaken our argument. We would therefore ask you to bear restraint in your reactions to this article and to bear with us as we put together our own response to the points raised by Mr Rahman.
What? Are they going to send an electonic shock through to his keyboard? :eh:

The use of 'fagins' was pointed out in the comments section following the article as equally racist. I assume that some people (this may include the author) make a distinction between racism and anti-Semitism, considering the latter to be okay. It is not.
