Well I've got games at Mytton Fold tomorrow and Regent's Park on Sunday. Oh, and I'm still rubbish so a nice big handicap for me please! :D

Aye. I even thought about the joys of watching him having to wind his neck in at that place in Kearsley.

Only just managed last night to persuade the wife to take our holiday on the 12th. She was all fired up for the fifth but we had to renew our passports and I told her they might not be back in time. Didn't mention golf of course but it's all okay now.

I do need the practise: Haven't had any since the last TW. Left home at seven this morning and got home at ten to six tonight. Then played fourteen holes of Great Lever and Farnworth with my 8 handicap son-in-law. Nice little course with a couple of tricky holes and the rough is best kept well away from. Course was wet and heavy, the wind was blowing shxt out of us and halfway round the heavens opened. That's dedication for you.

PS: Is there a 55 handicap for men?

I can't wait for this now.
I went to the range after work last night with one of the guys in the office who plays off 7, he found a nice nickname for me after I hit about 20/30 shots - Travolta, due to my bandy legs as I duck into shots. When I hit I open my body up and hit what cricketers would define as a perfect off drive as the ball squirts off to the right perfectly straight - no slice.

I just hope the weather doesn't turn on us again this year.

AND

I'd be up for a Wanderers forum Ryder Cup type affair against Wanderers Ways or another BWFC Forum/Fanzine......?

Nice one Commie. Have we got a provisional list of competitors and declared handicaps?
