Good man Darren Bent, you have gone up in my esteem.
You'd think someone called Bent would fit in at West Ham.

I remember Curbs proper getting his bottom lip out when players wanted to leave little charlton to go and play for real clubs like tottenham hotspur. quite likes the feel of the boot on the other foot doesn't he?warthog wrote:http://www.cafc.co.uk/newsview.ink?nid=30933&newstype=pBatman wrote:They can't even attract second rate strikers from the Championship with 75k a week pay.

in other news i did enjoy reading about liverpool's cheeky £1m bid for bennayoun
Yeah well, his heart was never in it, was it? Better that Bent stays or goes elsewhere at the end of the day. And £75k a week? Yep, of course he was going to get that.
As for Yossi 'I love West Ham apart from when Israel are playing' Benayoun - he's reneged on his agreement, and we've asked the Victims for Bellamy and cash in exchange.
Personally I'd rather keep Yossi, but we definitely need another striker.

It seems the Egg may read KUMB - on his failure to sign Darren Bent, he said::
"In the aftermath of this I have been encouraged by the reaction of the West Ham supporters. I visited some of their internet chat sites.
"They appreciate the efforts we made and they are less disappointed than I thought they might be. The view seems to be that perhaps this wasn't the best deal we could do at this stage.
"If you cannot answer a man's argument, all it not lost; you can still call him vile names. " Elbert Hubbard.
Clearly you don't read KUMB. There were multiple knobbers on there earlier in the season discussing how it was the black players fault that they were down there. It's probably written earlier in this thread.Verbal wrote:Tombwfc wrote:West Ham fans on KUMB against signing a black player? Who would've thought it?....
Reo-coker, harewood, zamora, ferdinand, mullins, quashie
yeah.
I'm fully aware that not every West Ham fan is a racist, they just have a vocal minority who are.
On another note, i'm blacker than Anton.

Is everything to do with West Ham completely bent?
