If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

well it is Thursday, cheer up. Now if it's still there on Saturday, feel disappointed then.

I knew I was talking crap all along. I was just trying to stick up for the new members of the band!haha!eeeeekabeble! I know that last season we were out of time, I only went to 6 matches last season because of work, whereas I normaly go to every home game, and i did feel slighty emabarrased that some of the band just couldn't keep a steady tempo. I've kicked up a fuss about it, cos as I'm studyin music and have been drumming since I was 12 it really really pisses me off. Hopefuly, Brian, who left last season will come back and save us (he was the big bass player that did drum in time!lol!) So please accept my apologies for talking pure shite, I was just trying to defend the poor 'new' drummers that well...don't drum!

Good call podcast, don't know how you culd really defend them tbh. How hard is it to drum at the correct tempo? An entire stadium can clap in time, half a dozen drummers.........

Maybe point them all at this thread :conf:

Haha! I am a bloke with a mullet. Okay...i did give in to the argument, but for two justified reasons.

1. I really could not be bothered as I've had this argument a million times over the years, and didn't get much sleep last night.lol.

2. Part of me, although slightly Judas it may seem, agrees with them at present. We've been rehearsing though, and hopefuly by the time I get to the Reebok in September (when my saturday contracts ends) we will be back to how we used to be with the fans, on good terms and contributing to the atmosphere as one unit rather than, as fatshaft said 'half a dozen drummers'.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

See that's the thing, we are not just going to stop. Okay, your entitled to your opinion, and i respect that, but a few seasons ago we had the whole stadium bouncing up and down chanting to 'we are the one...' nearly every match. It's only since, like it's been stated, some of the band members changed and our home performances became 'average' and frustrating that the anger toward the band has grown. Okay, we're not everyone's cup of tea, so if we're not yours, just sit and listen to your wind-up radio while your watching the match, or join in and stop being such an old grandad!

Haha! That's the another thing we're trying to get back into the drumming. Don't know if you've noticed, but the majority of our instruments are african drums (djembes), and we orginally started by using our african know-how in the chants, but its gradualy faded away. There are some cross-rhythms going on still, if you listen carefuly though!lol!

Sorry but you didn't. I used to sit in front of the band in the North Stand and you used to annoy the crap out of everyone. When the stadium "bounces" it's because the fans start the songs and the band joins in, not the other way round.

I don't want to see Amir Kahn making the Golden Gamble draw every week.
I have nothing against him - put would prefer to see former players making the draw. The first time after he won his silver medal was brilliant, but he's done it so many times now.

Everyone hates the band, they are a stupid and pointless exercise in twattism.

Get rid now

agree. All it ends up contributing is "we are the one and only". Great, but when a match consists of 2 songs (wanderers) its a bit shite. Whatever happened to the variety we used to have

Used to ba an amazing group of drummers hang around Bolton Town Hall Square at weekends. Couple of dozen of them maybe. Now they were good.

Podcast. Being as the club have been actively supporting the band, and being as you've lost your time-keeper-in-chief, would it not be a fair ask of yours upon the club that they install a boom and a couple of monitors?

or better still, just stop. please stop.

I don't know of anyone who likes the drumming anymore. It was Allardyces attempt to copy the England band and, nothing personal, it failed.

What we probably will see on Saturday are all the things listed above, maybe with slight variations, but nevertheless, there.
