Anyone going?

I have no idea whose playing (all noise to me), but I'm working it again this year so would be happy to say hello to anyone from here and maybe get you into the VIP area (celebs and the likes) seeing as I'm working the entrance

I was going to get Gnome in last year, but one of us lost the others mobile number

You never know, I might even bump into my friend Harry Potter again!

Must be fun bossing around all those children.

Music festivals are a joke these days, full of pricks and wankers.

Going to Reading's sister concert Leeds. Doubt it'll be as good as last year. Still fun though

[stirring it]Slow down there GI Joe!
You're missing a trick here...Entry into the VIP area has got to be worth a bag of donuts at least, maybe even a twix and a can of tizer too.[/stirring it]

I've only been to the Reading festival once; back in 1995. I can't remember all the acts but it had the likes of Rage against the Machine, Sonic Youth, The Prodigy and Stone Roses.

That's what Readings has going for it; ability to attract the biggest bands. But as a festival, it really lacks atmosphere. I know it was a long time ago, but I remember thinking that I enjoyed the music, but I probably wouldn't go again. And I didn't; have been going to Glastonbury every year since.

But again, the ability to attract the big names is in evidence. I mean Smashing Pumpkins on the Sunday night... I'd be almost tempted to go to the festival for just that.

I'm going to Leeds.
Festivals are the dogs bollocks. I've never had any trouble at festivals (apart from smoking too much and collapsing whilst watching Jimmy Cliff at Glasto a few years back. I'd rather go to a festival for a weekend than spend 2 weeks abroad.

That's absolute crazy talk!

How about you go to an abroad festival like Coachella, Bennicasim (sp) or Roskilde? miles better than anything in this squalid, dank shit-hole of a country.
