They're a great band, I know the lead singer, Gareth. Seeing them too in October, should be excellent!

I've been listening to the New Pornographers' latest album, Challengers, on loop for most of the week.

Introduced to me by Capslock and encouraged by jmjhb, Thirst For Romance by Cherry Ghost. It's fecking superb. Apparently they're supporting both Crowded House and The Manics later this year. Fair play!

Just listened to their new EP - very good for a first attempt and a bargain at £4.

The Pigeon Detectives - Wait For Me.

Twelve good men and true are yet to form an opinion, a lot of it sounds just like a million other things I've heard over the past 30 years or so!
