Dioufy has a good effort and goalie saves. Corner Bolton, Dioufy gets it back and puts a good ball in for a Meite header that goes wide. Bratten good skills but outnumbered. Nolan wins it but ball goes back to Jussi. Good pass from the Robots and we get another let off as the ball goes between two of their forwards. Sub for Robots but don't even go there as to who for who.

Annelka holds off two players and Hunt gets it forward, Davo scrambles it and our chance goes wide. Jussi takes it well at our end and clears. The Robots have taken it too us all night and another effort clears the Bolton bar. Dioufy bundles one over after not getting a free kick so he gives one instead. Nolan, Anelka, results in a corner for Diouf to take. Davo gets a touch but no direction. Robots attack again and I was wrong, Speed still on and I haven't a clue who the seconf man was who went off.

Another Robot sub and a free kick to us wide right of their area. Ball cleared and Hunt did well. Another pass beats "four" Bolton defenders and we get another let off.

Cid off for AO'B, McCann for Braaten - Nolan presumably central.

Diouf, Anelka, Braaten, Nolan, shot, nothing. Hunt knocks it forward and out of play. Joey O'Brien......did you hear that, Joey, O'Brien on Hunt and for Bolton. Bratten and Gardner get it forward and only a throw results. Nolan had a half chance; Soeed, flick from Davo and the effort goes wide. Bolton throw and.......oooooh, Anelka skimms the bar. COME ON YOU WHITES. Fourtenn minutes to go....

Get a goal and all is forgiven. Here they come again and the O'Briens get it clear. BrillianT play gets the ball from Nolan and the fans are going wild as the Robots get a corner. Diouf helps clear it as the Robot pressure builds.

Meite, A O'Brien etc etc, Gardner, Anelka, Nolan, Diouf.........and they break yet again bringing a great clearance from Meite. Diouf, Speed, O'Brien, Braaten bundled off and we get a free kick.Ten minutes to go.

Anelka takes the kick , goalie screws up and Meite get in there GOAL......1-1.

Eight minutes and Braaten is hacked for a free kick to us. Just outside the area. Boxing matches in the area and Davo gets a rollocking as well as their player. Dioufy hits the wall for a Bolton throw. Spped...and Diouf's volley shaves the post'

Six minutes and even Steven. Bit better from Bolton. Davo, Nolan, Diouf, Speed, Gardner, Bratten........CLEARED.

Five minutes and Jussi sportingly puts the ball out for a Robot injury. Jussi gets it back in return and another would be very nice. Unlikely, but very nice. Not a good showing from the Whites, travel sickness perhaps, and another Robot sub.

Couple of minutes left as Diouf gets forward. Robots clear, two extra minutes and Speed was hacked down after receiving from Braaten. Davo gets dragged down, Diouf, Anelka, and a header wide from Davo. Braaten, Diouf , and a Robot throw results in a corner. Don't let up now Whites. Jussi bundled off, free kick us. In extra time. Andy O gets in a mess and they will be better pleased than us by the performance. Ref goes watch-watching and......that's it folks. `1-1.

Dread to think what the lads and lasses who went will have to say, but at least we didn't lose. Sorry for the sporadic ramblings folks, but twas a commentary from a commentary. We apparently, didn't shine.

Wasn't really crediting what you were saying there, DLH. Yes, maybe I should have done that but it was mainly for those who couldn't even listen in to anything. Nothing more frustrating than silence.

Indeed - and thanks to you we didn't have silence.

Available on BBC London with the link top right. Could be painful listening.

It already is - but that could be due to Steve Bunce's usual mangling of the English language.

Post by PurpleStar697 » Sun Sep 23, 2007 3:00 pm

Hi

As the match today is not on tv, is there anywhere online to watch it for free?

Thanx

I'm using that BBC London link instead. They're currently chatting about the size Andy O'Brien's nose.

So annoying that it isn't working. Don't like listening to these biased gimps.

Just the Bolton and Tottenham commentary isn't working. The Villa commentary is working over the matchday console. Just looks like they've forgot to turn up today.

Just a bit biased these southern commentators, one feels.
