Right I've got sky+ in me living room and multi room in another room.

Do you know if it's possible to get a sky+ box for the other room aswell. Rather than the normal sky.

So id have 2 sky+'s

lesson 1:
Use open questions

Open questions allow a conversation to be generated, rather than a closed question which invites a one word answer.

Open questions usually begin with the words who, why, what, where, which and how

Do you pay a further subscription for the additional sky+ box?

Or it is a one of payment for the box and installation.

Cheers. No 1 word answers cause you'll make me look bad ;)

I cant find anything about replacing the normal box to a sky+ box

You sure it's possible? How do I go about it?

Replacing requires more or less a new installation. You're going to need to run new cabling (as the sky+ has twin cable) and your dish will need a new LNB (the pickup unit mounted on the rod sticking out the front) as the normal sky one is a single unit as again you'll need a multi way one. And you also obviously need a new digibox.

There is nothing to stop you doing all this yourself if you're that way inclined, or alternatively you can pay an installer to do it for you.

Anyway, enough about me. How are you?

Thanks mate, a very useful reply.

I wouldnt never be arsed to set it all up myself though haha but if theres no extra monthly payment that would be good.

Thanks for your help :)
