Disappointing Bruce.....Watching BWFC on the Telly at home, a full 90 minute (140 mins if extra time and pens are a possibility) set of supplies should be packed within arms length next to the seat yer watching fromBruce Rioja wrote:You know, I haven't seen it yet either. I'd just nipped into the kitchen to make a sandwich, heard the commotion, ran back into the living room to hear the commentators banging on about it but didn't see a replay. Did they show one?keveh wrote:is there a video anywhere of the al habsi save?

Bayern is a very very powerful side. Stuttgart might beat them 3-1 just as Bolton Wanderers might beat Arsenal 3-1, that happens within the league, but to draw a team as strong as Bayern from a foreign league in a knock-out competition AT THEIR PLACE is a huge accomplishment.
Don't forget that Bayern was thought to be waning in strength in previous but proved that supposition wrong by defeating Real Madrid and drawing the eventual winners AC Milan (if we don't count Milan's grossly offside goal and grossly unjust penalty). In addition to that, they've become a much better team this year by signing Ribery and Toni!!! They are really dominating the Bundesliga...
Well done to the whites!!
Is there a clip of highlights other than just the goals? I really want to see Al Habsi's save and Andranik's shot
It's great how Bolton had the much nicer looking goals as well
although Ribery did great work on both of Bayern's.
Congratulations to everyone.

Barely, Warty, it's hardly like he'd launched himself to his right. I'd say he was more rocking from foot to foot than committed. He didn't seem unsighted to me and unlike Banks he didn't have to cover eight yards, just drop. Very commendably strong wrist though. I'm no flag-waving anachronism, but I believe Banks's to be much the better save. Still, well done AAH.warthog wrote:And he has to change direction.hisroyalgingerness wrote:superb. anyone who thinks that it doesn't deserve the comparisons with Banks i throw into the hat... unsighted until last secondDavid Lee's Hair wrote:The saves on here.....

lol, that's funny. I thought he was going to run past that defender and head straight for the goal.Le Snake wrote:Al Habsi's alright, but he's a bit of a show pony![]()
