McClaren Out !!!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

You can't say I'm fickle.

By the way ... our players are always whinging on about playing too much footy and not getting breaks. Well, they can have one next fckg summer now !!

Pricks.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Beat me to it Bobo, let's get a proper manager and concentrate on the world cup. :pissed:

We need a manager with the presence and stature to drop players who simply don't perform. No matter how well they do for their clubs if they don't perform for England, drop and leave out.

tbh there's no one who can polish the turd that is England. The players were embarrassed tonight by a Croatia team in 3rd gear at best. No players on the horizon that are world beaters. The press if we are led to believe are clambering for Martin O'Neil. FFS not exactly made Aston Villa into a formidable team.

Even Mourinho can only pick from a squad of shite though. Look how well Ericksson has done now he doesn't have to pick England players.

Its a piece of p*ss to qualify for the Euros...Scotland and NI boh nearly made it...yet he's failed

Anyway a repeat of what I said in the other thread but McClaren for Birmingham? (seems more appropriate here)

Well, we may as well get the home internationals back on. I believe that it's been agreed in principle.

True, and the Jocks aren't all the kilt and wig wearing joy and light that they kid on to the rest of the world that they are.

Back to 'McClaren Out', apparently he's saying that he won't step down. Surely he doesn't have a case for compo, not after that Swedish nice person hung the FA out to dry?

You'd hope not wouldn't you. Shocking for him not to resign after that though, even Keegan had the bottle to step down. Not that it matters in the scheme of things.

He's just been on SSN, and all he could do was say 'We didn't have a good start'. Jesus, thanks Steve.

See now that's pissed me off. Him holding his hand up and resigning first thing tomorrow would have gained him his only deserved respect from his tenure. The guy's a shithouse.

I'm old enough to remember when the Scots were viewed as utter scum. Someone needs to dig out that picture of them breaking the crossbar at Wembley after a pitch invasion (around 1977 I think.) It was one of things that led to cages at football games.
