Allardyce is a complete failure, let's all laugh at him.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Saturday was hilarious, one of the funniest matches I've ever been to. The Geordies really are a class-apart in their fickle fandom. So your side are losing 1-0 at home at half-time to a side way above you in the table? Of course, you boo. When you concede a third goal after 60 odd minutes, you decide to leave in your droves. When the man-of-the-match is announced, you boo that decision. You boo every substitution. You join in when the away support start singing 'Big Sam for England' and 'You're Getting Sacked In The Morning', and other such ditties.

After 75 minutes, though, you can rouse yourselves for a rendition of 'We Love Newcastle, We Do'. You spend more of your time and energy booing an opposition player because of his performance for England.

Absolutely hilarious.

I think Sam is capable of doing a good job overall, but his recent tactics tend to suggest that he might be stuck in the "Bolton" ways of long ball and muscle and that any future signings might be geared to reflect this - heaven forbid!

As opposed to that exciting, entertaining style of football practiced by the Toon over the last few years. Stupid Geordie muppets.

Oh I don't doubt he's sweating like a xmas turkey right now; but if he's rung up The Sun to tell them he 'believes he has only two games to turn the struggling club around, otherwise he will be sacked' I'll do a naked dance on the town hall steps next weekend.

Blackburn 3 - 1 Newcastle.

Well, the pressure's still on.

If he was 2 games from the sack, then now he's 1 from it.

Ha !!

Another defeat for Slimy Sam. 3-1 loss at Ewood in front of 8000 fans.

No booing this week though. What a shame.

Did they only take 8,000 fans to Lancashire? Thought they were the best in the world and supported them through thick and thin?

I actually wanted to see him succeed at Newcastle, just to silence his critics.

Why are people here so ungrateful towards our most successful manager ever?

The short memories on here amaze me.

i'm guessing ratty, and certainly in my case it was the whole "break from football... oh what did you say. there's a job up at newcastle" fiasco. also some comments since about newcastle being a much bigger club etc.

the only two things that would give me greater pleasure is if he'd had the same failure at either man city or west ham

Very much agree with the 2 guys above, Ratty.

I was a big defender of him, though his "Mr Angry" act got wearisome at times.

But ... with over 2 years left on his contarct he begged to be released so he could "spend time with his family". Then, 2 weeks later he's found the lure of Newcastle irresistable.

So, he robbed us of £2m compensation.

He agreed to leave his Bolton backroom team alone ... yet within weeks Mike Ford was off, followed by, I believe, almost a couple of dozen of them.

Faye, about to sign an extension then decides he'd rather not ... & lo & behold he's up there within the month.

Now Jussi has started his bi-annual dithering. The onlt thing that will keep him is BFSA's demise.

We hear Diouff is getting itchy feet.

I assume he's had a tug at Anelka too.

PLUS ... do you actually believe he's innocent on all counts on the bungs claims ?? I never did ... & certainly don't now.

PLUS, plus ... he decides to rubbish the cairman who supported him so much. Then has constant digs at Bolton ... claiming it was all down to him. Arrogant ... yes, he always was, but it's easier to spot when he's not yours.

Add that to his piss-poor signings before leaving, his appalling record in the calendar year 2007 and really I think it's not a case of short memories, but one of removing the old pink specs.

I hope he's totally humiliated by Wenger's gang on Wednesday. I hope the fans turn on him again ... & I look forward to him putting himself forward, now available, for the England job & Barwick & Co. piss themselves at his application.

There ... I needed that !!
