Well, maybe whoever's running it is complacent then, but I couldn't believe I couldn't get in there because there were about to close just after the Aris match.bobo the clown wrote:Currently the biggest issue is getting into the fckg place, so the manager can sit back, smug as he like's, raking it in ... & not getting himself set unachievable 2nd year targets.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Right, presumably every branch of a franchise like Nando's has its own manager with some power.
Would it be too much to ask for a Nando's that is situated right outside a bloody football stadium to be open for an extra hour (i.e. shutting at 11pm rather than 10pm) on the night of a home match?
Last week it was "... I can get you a table in about 1 hour sir!". You can go fck yourself, then.
On the crest of a wave, at present.

Jeez, standards are slipping.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Small detour with a portion of the M6 being closed last night...we weren't even allowed to stop at traffic lights though for fear of such ruffians being allowed to freqent such an exclusive area.bobo the clown wrote:They let Leyther's into Stockton Heath ?Leyther_Matt wrote:Discovered last night that there's a Nando's in Stockton Heath in Warrington. My mum, dad, sister and her boyfriend had arrived before us, and she had told them we needed a table for 7, and must have slipped in that it was my birthday.
So we all go and sit down in the circle booth, and a young guy comes over and says happy birthday too me and said how we were the same age blah blah blah. Then he said because it was my birthday I'd earnt a free meal for everbody. We didn't think it would be all free, I thought he meant that I could have a free meal, others thought he was taking the piss saying everybody had a free meal because I had to treat them.
Anyway, we went to pay, it came to around £75, and he just knocked everything off.
Chuffed!
