I like a fishfinger butty. If you're grilling, spread butter over the frozen fingers and do it on a low heat; butter melts into the fish, happiness abounds. Mind our grill's fooked so I gently fry mine now after a quick defrost in the microwave (the fish, not me).

English BLT. Well any English bacon sandwich.

My favorite here is an Italian sub from a new jersey sub shop. Around the house, an oven roasted turkey sandwich with provolone and miracle whip (think salad cream) on a bulkie roll.

Not sure it is a franchise (it might be) rather than a style of sub - they do have them in Eastern Mass.

LOL spent a lot of time in new Jersey due to the ex wife's family. Loved their sub shops. They had the best bread, everything was fresh, and they just knew how to make a sub.

That's definitely one part of it. The Italian sub shops take the meats seriously.

Jamaica Bar in Nerja, Spain. Club Sandwich:

Slice of toast with thin ham, lettuce and tomato, topped with a second slice of toast, topped with rashers of fried bacon and a fried egg, topped with a third slice of toast with a hole cut in it with the fried egg showing through. Magical sandwich. Wish I had one right now.
