It's a very limited information request at this stage. I can only assume they would move on to wanting every single number and password in connection with my bank account so that they can wire me the £2m.

Had a couple of fake e-mails from e-bay saying my account would close unless I updated my details immediately. Luckily, I didn't have an e-bay account. The e-mails were very professional looking with e-bay replica logos etc.
Also had someone send a letter to my bank asking for all further transactions etc, to be posted to my new London address. Credit to the bank for contacting me to confirm the instructions I never gave them. The bank fraud department took it over but I never heard any more about it.

more likely it's just the same as the nigerian 419 type thing, once you send the email then they ask you for a "processing fee" or somesuch.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:It's a very limited information request at this stage.
