Film downloads
I've never actually downloaded films from the internet before, but there are a few that I wouldn't mind downloading and well I just can't see the wood for the trees out there in cyberspace!!! Anybody got any recommendations on particular websites that are reliable for downloading films? I've got a mac so that might effect the sites I can use
... any advice would be helpful!!

a bittirrent tracker index site place like the pirate bay
then swear when all your upload ports are blocked and it labels you a leech :/
I buy DVDs and download films as a hobbie, the best site i have come across, and swear by, for movie torrents is http://www.superfundo.org/ many low size, top quality dvdrips all checked by mods from a collection of the best rippers around (particularly aXXo) also if you are new to torrenting it has guides and reccomendations avaliable to help you out. http://www.rlslog.net/ is also good for scene releases of movies, music, games and applications that are all reliable if you want more then movies. In terms of searching for films that are not avaliable on the two sites I have mentioned then I personally use http://isohunt.com/ but there are many similar sites to that around and I guess its down to finding one you like. Hope that helps.
you could try www.mininova.org
decent
but remember, piracy funds terrorism and makes baby Jesus cry.

www.katz.to - has books, tv series, computer games and fillums all on there, and they've conveniently separated out all the porn on to a different site, too.
You'll need a subscription to rapidshare (file sharing programme where a lot of these films are hosted). These are relatively cheap and you can get one for just a month for a few quid if you only want to get a few films, or for longer if you think you'll be doing this on a regular basis.
Have a look on Katz for the films you're after - it's got most stuff on there, and it's all pretty decent quality.
You'll also need a programme called WinRAR (free to download) to put all the files together, and likely VLC (Videolan Client - likewise free to download) to play them on.
If you want any help then drop me a line - I can supply an idiots guide to using them if you so wish (that someone provided me with when I first enquired about it!)

the mac probably has un-rar software anyway built in, if it doesnt the free version of the aladdin stuffit software (which was pretty much like winzip was for windows , ie, had all the market once upon a time )Montreal Wanderer wrote:
