Thanks, but it doesn't work outside the UK. That'll teach me for moving to Ireland.

Nolan gets a yellow then throws a wild one in and nearly gets another. Trouble in the crowd and the coppers are beetling about. Got a picture on the Sopcast link given but its about five minutes behind and a bit 1920 cinema. Bolton under pressure and Madrid getting the refs favours. Couple of shots and s header over our bar. Big Bolton presence as Hunt wastes a free kick and the ball finishes up with Jussi who gives it his Spanish counterpart. Forlan comes forward and McCann challengesand Bolton get a free kick for handball after making a great save. Nolan and Joey O in the book already. Garcia crying at the bench and may go off. Bolton pressing but a break leaves Garcia a sitter and he whangs it over the bar after good Forlan work...Phew... 31 gone.

Davo gets badly whacked, gets nowt. "Don't know if Megson can speak Polish, or the ref speak Megson" quips Gowling. Bolton get a free near our area as Stelios gets whacked. This ref has Spanish connections.

Stelios gives it way but Bolton get a free for a savage on Hunt. Jussi takes. End to end attack and Madrid mob howling foul for every challenge. Madrid have the ball from orange-wellies and McCann gives away a foul. 37 gone and it's nervy. Jussi collects from another Athletico attack. Hunt get an elbow in the face..play on. We're not having too much possession and we're up against it a bit. Reyes dives (again) and is behaving like Miss Marple. Bolton attack but Davo can't keep it in. Athletico having most ball and Forlan being annoying. Stelios gets a throw and up to now we're holding on. Forlan heads wide and gets a corner???

42 gone and we're hanging on a bit. Jussi grabs it and Samuels gives it away, but gets let off. Davo nods on to Stelios who gets fouled....throw in Athletico???? Bolton throw and its repel boarders as we tick it off. One min stoppage. Cahill does well against Forlan and Davo is all over the field. Madrid come again and orange-wellies loses out to O'b and McCann gets a strong one in. Feflected Reyes shot gets a corner. All back and Jussi punches it away. Throw them AO'B blocKs well as the whistle goes. 0-0

Aye, and mainly forgetting the rest of us aren't there. Mustn't grumble though. I've given up on the Sopcast. Mad grains of coloured rice whizzing round in a blender during a snow storm, and the blender cuts out every ten seconds. I'll settle for sound.

Bolton out with no changes. Athletico likewise. Athletico kick off and off we go:

Madrid attack with space, Garcia brings it forward and Taylor gets whacked to no effect. Stelios playing nearer to Davo and we don't get another free as Joey O gets bundled. Athletico get another free fora powder puff challenge.Jussi saves after a good Cahill challenge. Goal kick to them as Hunt puts it behind.

Hello, we're back as Campo and Diouf get ready. COME ON YOU WHITES

Here come the cavalry, Campo for McCann and Dioufy for Stelios. Big boos from the crowd for Ivan. Two Throws to Athletico and Joey O wastes it and gives it back. Dioufy gets a foul, there's a surprise. Davo and Diouf just miss out and Madrid break but it gets cleared. Diofy to Campo, Taylor, Samuels....and a goal kick.

Athletic whistle a shot wide via Jurado and it's a goal kick. Dioufy gets another free to massive howls from the homers. Ref having words with him and him and orange wellies is having one at Diouf. Pernia attacks Dioufy like a madman....and gets a free kick. We're whacking it back to them and not passing well. Samuels screws up yet again and the Mads get a corner. Samuels redeems by clearing from Forlan. Bolton get a throw and Mattzi comes on for the Mads. Throw them and they get it forward. Jussi comes and grabs it.
Jussi fails to get the ball and it's scrambled away, but here they come again. Mattzi drives over and the spitter comes on for them for a defender. Campo gets it forward and some good attacking down the right just fails. Campo throw, still in, Joey rescues a Hunt error and they're throwing everything at us. Campo brings it out and we lose out again. Passing game from them and the homers getting really frustrated. Davo gives away a foul and they come again.

We've just gone from 56% to 61% possession - doesn't square with radio tango????

It's not what the radio commentators are saying as well.

"Bolton are snoozing themselves towards the last sixteen"

"Madrid are looking very, very average"

Just two quotes used by them whilst I've been typing this.

They've been very reluctant to acknowledge that the home team's ineffectiveness may just have something to do with the other team.
