I saw Art Brut in Sheffield on Thursday after watching the footy...they were superb. Only £5 too

Did you get to go to the Liverpool gig on Friday, Bruce?

Tonight it was a bit of Basic Channel, and I reckon I might have to put put the new Burial album on again real soon.

Just got back from a Los Campesinos gig. Excellent band, really energetic live, just a shame that the lead singer was in the process of losing his voice...

Laika Dog Tony Wright's (ex-Terrorvision) current band. Brilliant album, I enjoyed more than I thought I would. A bit different from his Terrorvision stuff.

I saw Terrorvision once at a festival. They were absolutely superb, but then went and ruined it by doing that Tequila thing. :(

I've jussed secured a couple of tickets for The Charlatans at The Academy in May. None of this vacuous MEN arena bollocks. None of the appalling acoustics of a former train station. The Academy, the finest gig venue on earth!
