At the moment, more errors and bad ball-handling than I've seen in a long time at this level. Wales 13-5 ahead against the Italians and, ....make that 13-8. Could do with Wales losing cos if we lose to the French tonight we might as well kiss it.CrazyHorse wrote:Not me, I'm not even sure I understand what's going on or any of the rules or anything.

Wales looking better by the game to take it. 47-8 with four to go and that's three in a row. We beat ourselves in one, won one playing badly and have the Garcons tonight. Not too promising unless we find some form. Finger crossed.Super_Kevin_Davies wrote:I'm watching - Italy looked promising early on but errors and lack of discipline letting them down. Wales looking well worth the score line!! Not seen too many other matches though, I think Wales were the red hot favourites before the tournament?!

That was just to clarify that my first post was purely for information purposes only, and should not be classed as posting in a rugby thread.CrazyHorse wrote:Well what about this one then?fatshaft wrote:I know, but that was purely for information purposes.TANGODANCER wrote:You just did.fatshaft wrote:I will not be posting in this thread

Great (if nervy) and much needed win against the Garlicticos. Brilliant defensive display against the frighteningly good running and passing game of the French. Wilkinson ( broke the world record for drop goals) is so much more than a good kicker, Vainikolo is a real asset and Wigglesworth (2nd cap) was immense. For the French, the nineteen year old, Parra, is a real prospect. Hard, tough, mauling game with a cracking second half display by England's defence. Glad to see it finish, even though we were on top, and the last try was icing on the cake.

I was, the tiger v Baddeley game was astonishing, and Ewen Murray's claim to the best game evrer in the WGC was probably spot on, but Monty's gone, and tbh, I have no interest in the guys that are left.Bruce Rioja wrote:I trust, my good man, that you're watching the matchplay in Arizona, no?fatshaft wrote:I will not be posting in this thread
The big guns have all gone, we have to hope Cabrera now makes the final, as he's the only guy who won't piss his pants at facing Tigger in the final.

I am just recovering slowly from watching this with copious amounts of amber nectar....Always good to stick it up the French at any game Can't make my mind up about Vainikolo yet - excellent RL player, but we look a little unsure of how to use his talent at the moment - we had a similar problem with Farrell (although Farrell was probably past his best when he joined the England set-up). Wigglesworth needs to get a bit more control over his game - was a bit untidy, and our line-outs are still weak at the minute - don't think we got as many clean catches as we need to. We generally mugged 'em in the scrum. All round though a good performance.TANGODANCER wrote:Great (if nervy) and much needed win against the Garlicticos.
