Well I like it but its my first taste of Xbox 360 magic so probably the wrong person to ask, the inbetween video clips are a bit of a pain and over long (no where near as bad as Final Fantasy though).
It looks good, gameplay is a bit fussy at first, but agin that could be me certainly looks pretty deep.
I got Oblivion too and a couple of "classic" free, two are more for the daughter but Gotham Racing isn't too bad.

Must admit ive read more bad press than good re assasins creed, although it does look brilliant graphically. Each to their own though and i still fancy it, its frustrating that there have been no playable demos to wet the palette with? but its another title ill wait for the cheaper pre-owned copies to appear in Game.
Have seen this review of assassin's creed. the guy is genius by the way, recommend all his videos.

I liked Assassin's Creed at first. But I got really annoyed with whole walking really slowly so not to get noticed. It made the game boring when wandering around between or on the way to missions. I found the controls really fiddly too, but that could be my lack of co-ordination

Don't call it a comeback

Call of duty 4 - The best game I have ever played. If you like that kind of stuff. It's so realistic and the graphics are awesome. Great online to.
Gears of war is a great game to.
Who goes? You decide!

second whats already been said, Gears and COD4 are absolute musts.Raven wrote:So what games (not just brand new ones) are a must have for the 360, not bothered about football ones
Gears is pretty old now and can be picked up quite cheap, COD4 is still number one in the gamer charts and still commands full price. But you should definitely get Ghost Recon 2 or Rainbow six Vegas, both very similar just set in different enviroments, but both superb and available pre-owned or probably cheap enough new now, as is Bioshock. obviously if your not into first person shooters then ignore me. Another classic I still enjoy is Virtua Tennis 3, thats quality!
Also, 'Bully - The scolarship edition' is out on friday and comes highly recommended. http://www.rockstargames.com/bully/home/

yeah, thats pretty much nailed it, buts its also more tactical too. to be honest i prefer it to COD4 play wise, but not graphics.Matty-Sharples wrote:so is ghost recon similar to COD4 but more.. hmm whats the word? 'Stealthier'
Should also mention 'Devil May Cry 4' came out last week, only played the demo myself, but even thats quality! its more of an arcadey platformy type game. heard nothing but rave reviews anyway. and dont know owt about DMC 1, 2 or 3? but i doubt it matters?

never played it online, wasnt on Live at the time, but the single player ones are straight forward enough. i only played it through once because i borrowed it off a mate when i first got my xbox, it did take me a fair while, some really tough missions! i love it, reckon its my fave so far and i would defo buy it myself if it wasnt for the imminent arrival of the sequel, but im not too concerned with achievments myself, just like playing tthe game through once on normal, then maybe again on the hardest mode untill i get bored.Matty-Sharples wrote:No I doubt that matters because if they have made a 4th version of the same game its probably just a follow on from the previous 3. One of my mates has got it and he says its quality.
What are thr achievements like on rainbow?
pretty new to playing online death matches n'that, not very good at em yet - but i do like playing in co-op!
