Jeremy Kyle

Post by Puskas » Fri Mar 28, 2008 10:09 am

As a member of the great unemployed, I've been watching Jeremy Kyle a lot. And I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. The show itself is good, but Jeremy is probably the greatest living Englishman. He knows where it's at. Deals firmly with idiots. I'd like to see him as Prime Minister. Vote for Kyle - vote for a better Britain.

You are havin a laugh? I work from home a lot and have to encounter this programme on the TV when I pop in to say howdo to my missus. It's full of retards that generally do nowt but shag their fecking cousins etc, prompting the inevitable DNA test.

Along with other programmes of a similar ilk - Springer etc. it shouldn't make the airwaves. Oh aye throw in any programme with Celebrity too - and anything to do with Ice, Dancing, failed Karaoke stars, Apprentices ad infinitum. It just shows the depths to which British pregramming has sunk.

Fecking hate programmes like this.

However paradoxially, I did see some of that one with the big skinhead from Springer. He was very close to tw@ting the person he was interviewing. Made me chuckle. Once a meat head always a meat head!

No!!!
Unemployment can do strange things to a man. There's only so much interview preparation you can do, and once you've spent some time reading up on OO design patterns and Sybase performance tuning you need something else. Then Jeremy arrives, saving the world, one disfunctional family at a time.
"Shut up! It's not about you. It's about the baby!"
That's right! Jeremy's got it! He understands! It's about the baby. (And, of course, the voyeuristic thrill of observing people who's lives are thousands of times sh1tter than mine...)
Anyway, it's over now. Until Monday. Time to break open the Tennants Super...

People who can do OOD and Sybase should be able to find much better things to do. Errr maybe not....

What's even more disturbing is the programme which has come on after it. It currently has Philip Schofield (more grey hair than I remember...) in bed with a woman and another man. And to top that off, the non-Schofield man has uttered the immortal line "Do you like a big clock in the morning?"
Daytime TV - it's filth! I'm expecting Gordon the Gopher to emerge, grinning, from someone's bum at any moment...

I can't even begin to understand how the logistics of such an appearance would work. :?

Having been on "gardening leave" (paid dossing) for the past month, I have seen more Jeremy Kyle than any one human should have to endure, and I can safely say.... he's a prize cock. If shouting at thick chavs is the only skill you need to be a day time tv host these days, then where do I sign up?

On on W4E's secondary point, I think they should all be renamed to ... I'm a failed celebrity, resurect my career please, I'm willing to undertake any task you require

Oi leave the dancing ones out of it, where would i get my fix on that tiny canadian ice skater and the two from Strictly Come Dancing (yes am shite with names - ones called Flavia?)

Personally the others ones I don't care about if some enjoy them so what, there is an off, change channel button.

As for Kyle at least unlike some he does shout at these morons and tell them what others seem to be scared of telling them

I had you down as someone who would put their foot through the telly, rather than endure a second of people like Kyle.

Agreed entirely. Personal choice.

These shows are entertainment for a lot of us. They are harmless and no one is required to watch them except if you wish, and the viewing figures prove a lot of people like them. To class these with Jeremy Bile ( glimpsed like Worthy on odd visits to the lounge. The class of people who appear on it are a clear indication of what to expect) is a non-starter. Why rant about either, just switch over.

Was forced to sit through the entire first series by my American girlfriend at the time, fascinated by the 'quirky brits'.

Its the last and only time I've watched any reality TV for more than 10 seconds...

Biggest complete twxt on television, who is so far up his own arse, he wears his colon as a medallion.

Funnily enough. One of our Private soldiers was one there a month or so ago, and is still getting jabbed for it. Mostly because he passed the lie detector.

My main problem with Kyle is the way he increases his tone to epic proportions
