After playing FIFA 08 on my nephews PS3 I was surprised how good it was (especially as most of the recent FIFA's have been awful) so I bought it for my 360, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

It's a bit depressing downloading the squad updates and Anelka disappears and is replaced by Rasiak :(

Had my promo copy of GTA4 for just about a week now (thanks to a very very good friend) and I see the embargo has been lifted on reviews and the like.

All I'll say is that this game is gonna get 10/10 absolutely everywhere and for my money it's more of a 9/10.

It's truly a wonderful game but for my money it's just GTA next gen...not a bad thing, it's a great game, loadsa fun but the problems with the previous games are all still there (camera, police ignoring things under their noses etc) for all to see. The story is better though and the main character is one of the funniest and most likeable characters I've seen in a game for ages.

So much swearing though, it's beyond a joke and (I never thought I'd say this) I actually feel it's too excessive.

However, the online is absolutey incredible, already had some HILARIOUS moments, the online will keep me playing for ages.

BASTARD!!!

just been out to tesco, got there at 10 to 12, big friggin queue about 100 deep already in place. guy on the door told me people had been knocking about for hours waiting, and that they only had about 40 copies left, and that some people were buying numerous copies each, so basically i had no chance!

was getting all giddy driving down and now im gutted. at least i have a copy reserved, ill pick it up in the morning, although if there were that many people in bury tesco at midnight, there will be a fair old queue round the arndale tomorrow!

I have loads of exams coming up, and pledged I wouldn't buy the game untill they were after.

Couldn't resist though :? , but it was a good decision.

An hour in and I already love it. Awesome game.

Revise, Dax. I failed some of my A-Levels through lack of revision, but I'd've been doubly p*ssed off about it had the cause been a computer game and not a lass with an apparently insatiable appetite for my cock. (By now she's presumably in an institution.)

Aye, wise advice DSB.

I'll view GTA as a safe way to get rid off the stress and angst brought on by revision and such.

Sounds good. Give yourself time off, but from the revision, not the game.

Through lack of means I cannot buy this game - don't own 360 or ps3. Suppose it'll benefit the coursework/exams situation. But I have to buy it in the summer. There are very few games I have time for, and GTA is one of them. Reading some of the reviews made me jealous enough already...just want to play it now :(
