Very interesting this one now. Leeds scrawping one in the 95th minute. As much as I want Carlisle to succeed I'd also like to see Gary McAllister as a manager. :?

Agreed, but not with Leeds.

who gives a feck? i'd rather have them in division three instead.

if they dont go up, the cheating bastards'll probably declare bankruptcy again just to 'do' the ambulance folk and others out of their money again .. then buy some small teams best players with the promise of big bux wages .

I don't think anything was mentioned at the time. But as he was a Premiership defender and we practically gave him away, i'm guessing yes.

a1s right though, it's probably worth not having it if it keeps them down there.

just got back from t'local....95th min goal, cue chants of YORKSHIRE YORKSHIRE...yorkshire fc???

anyway out of all the ex wanderers on show:

Michalik was pretty poor, at fault for a couple of chances for carlisle, good ones as well. slow and slow distribution as well...looked like the right move to sell him on that show....never be fast enough for the prem.

Livesey on the other hand looked excellent - good reading of the game, a lot stronger inthe air than lubo and marshalled the back line well

cleveland taylor came on and was cack

bridges had a nice suit on in the studio and had combed his hair. treatment bench been treating him well

oh and if worst comes to the worst with ali al habsi and jussi i would snap that carlisle keeper up straight away, he was superb and unlucky with the goal...

game on for that in the second leg though, thursday

Great game this, BC v CP, 2nd leg. Palace went ahead to level it overall, then missed a penalty. Extra time being played and the boy Trundle has just curled a peach in to put BC 3-2 up.

Michael McIndoe seems to have out it beyond doubt now.

Brizzle are through, which pleases me aesthetically as I prefer Johnson's style to Warnock's, but I still feel bad for my Palace mate. Let's hope Boothroyd's boys don't bully Broony's lot out at the KC; I'd root for 'Ull in that final but wouldn't be too distraught to see Johnson have a go at the top level.

Prime example of stupidity in the second half when Leeds fans in the White Elephant Stand seemed genuinely ecstatic refusing to give the ball back to a Carlisler for a throw-in. Score at that moment of hilarious time-wasting: Leeds 0 Carlisle 2.

Well if there are two clubs that I feel as though we have this absolute parity with then they're Brizzle City and West Brom. As I've said elswhere though, I'd love to see how Brownie gets on at the top level.

Not being funny, but Palace looked to play more "purist" stuff over the 2 legs than Bristol did. (Adebola?).

Am happy, cos I'd prefer a trip to Bristol (or Hull ideally) to Watford or Palace.

Must say BWFCi of the play-offs I only saw tonight's extra-time, but I've seen BC a few times and they stroke it about, whereas I've been suffering Warnock since Meadow Lane, 1990.

Both hoofed and hoofed tonight. City were shite though, if they come up and manage a point it'll be an achievement.

Have'nt we been suffering Warnock since Scarboro 86

That is for ever England

Well I watched the first game in greater detail and can only concur. Next season simply has to serve as being something by way of a free pass for us to stay up at the end of it if that's the standard of what's coming up.
