Good use of BBC licence money?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7430621.stm
Apparently, Jonathan Ross is on an £18m 3 year deal
Paxman £940k per year, Wogan £800k per year and wait for it......
Chris Moyles on £630k......
Feck me.

At least they class as "entertainers" ... the pay that simple newsreaders get is amazing ... & you can, literally, replace them at a whim.Worthy4England wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7430621.stm

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm staggered that that's the going rate for the shite Jonathan Ross often talks. Would he really be valuable to the tune of £6million a year to another outlet?communistworkethic wrote:they're just paying the going rate.

I'll say one thing for Ross - for whatever reason he does seem to have a lot of pull when it comes to getting the big names on his show, and then again, for whatever reason, they all seem to find his shite amusing or, at least, acceptable!
I don't know... I think I lost respect for him when he had the man Cameron on and he asked him if he's ever knocked one out over Maggie.

Ah, whatever, it's clear that I watch his bloody programme isn't it, so he must be doing something right....
And I suppose he's quite good as a film reviewer...
