EURO 2008

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

He has scored against us of course, a couple of seasons back...
Yes, his one and only goal for Sheffield United.

I would LOVE it if we somehow got Deco...he's been told he's not needed anymore for Barca apparently but he still looks like a class act to me.

Bosingwa worth 16 million? Jesus, how did Chelsea think he was worth that?

Dodgy at the back though. A better team than Bernard Matthews would have beaten them tonight.

The way Tyldesley soiled himself over Ronaldo every 15 seconds, you'd be hard pressed to know there was a game on. Or that Portugal had 10 other players on the pitch.

Can't stand the guy, and to be honest I thought Mark Bright on the beeb was bad, but then Clive went and topped it.......
Don't call it a comeback

Even the post match interview with Kazim-Richards was annoying - "did Ronaldo tell you if he's going to Madrid?"

Good match though, the Pork and Cheese look quite tasty.

Podolski is such a natural goalscorer and I've been a fan of his for a while now..remember those hilarious rumours of us being interested? Jesus, I'd roll over and shit mars bars if we ever got a player of his class. It's a suprise to me nobody has tried to get him to the premiership yet I must admit.

Germany look excellent for me, not sure about their two centre backs but going forward and midfield I don't know if any other team could keep up with them.

Suprised to see Austria give Croatia such a go, but without Croatia's best player they don't look that great going forward.

It really was atrocious. Anelka attempting and failing to defy the laws of physics with a ridiculous shot was funny though.

If France play like that again they will be out of the competition as, unlike Romania, Holland and Italy will actually have shots on goal.

Honestly, how shit was that! Anelka trying to shoot from an impossible angle was stupid, Malouda shooting instead of passing was stupid...you'd think they'd never played together.

It's all because Anelka's a Pisces, clearly.

Good display by the Dutch. 2-0 up at the break and looking the better side all round. Typical hatchet tactics by the Italian defence but Sneijder is having a cracker. His goal was a peach. VN looked way offside but the lead is well deserved.

Apparently it wasn't offside...Panucci being off the pitch counts as him being on the touchline or something

Was he off the field through injury or just because he wandered off? If it's the latter, i think you're right.

Their keeper bundled into him and a Dutch player, they both ended up off the pitch.

Still offside though surely? He was OFF the pitch, regardless of why, he can't be playing anyone onside if he's on his arse behind the line can he?

That was a brilliant game of football.

I love watching the Dutch play when they are on song and all guns blazing. We could learn so much if only we wanted to....

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
