fecking hell... after being brutalised by a course that was over 7200 yards long this week, I thought I was in for an easier time of it tomorrow....

Sorry to do this at this stage, but something important has come up that means I can't come today. Hope you have a good knock.

Sincere apologies to those involved, especially Blurred - I hope the lift back was sorted out ok, as I was told it probably would be! It really was something last-minute and unavoidable.
Hope you all had a good game anyway, and that we have a new winner.
It's a real shame, because I had a successful week's golf in Germany and was ready this time.

Tis a sad day, Worthy. Like the 1977 Wembley crossbars, this year's GMP's Copper's helmets and...... hmmm, I'm struggling nowWorthy4England wrote:So who won then?

Commie has the score cards, I think, so should be able to fill us in with points details. However, from what I can remember, and in reverse order it went;
6th: Commie
5th: Dr Hotdog
4th: Blurred
3rd: Me. Just give me a second here if you will.
Me, fecking me. I didn't come last!

Sorry.
In second place was Ratty with a right old knock,
However,
The winner of the 2008 TW Open is...................................
Fatshaft

Well done, fella, and it was superb to meet you as well.
May the bridges I burn light your way
