Tis a sad day, Worthy. Like the 1977 Wembley crossbars, this year's GMP's Copper's helmets and...... hmmm, I'm struggling now  this year sees for the first time the TW Open Trophy head north of the border. Well, via Warrington.

Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, Lady Diana, Maggie Thatcher, can you hear me? Maggie Thatcher... your boys took a hell of a beating!

Couldn't resist.

Pleasure meeting you guys, was an enjoyable day despite the howling wind. Isn't it strange how no-one ever looks like you'd imagined? I won't be picking any more verbal fights with Bruce for starters

I am extremely disgruntled and want a re-match later in the summer, a TW Masters if you will.

I'd be for another tournament later on, but at a different venue?

For sure, somewhere where the heavy rough is more forgiving.

Cool. A random Muni? Excellent. Although I can just envisage the old "Oh, fancy seeing you here  " on the car park on the Sunday before.

More forgiving? feck me, if that course was any more forgiving they'd have windmills and shit on the greens and hand you a putter as you walked out the clubhouse...

Well, I'm keen in principle... hopefully I can avoid another last-minute withdrawal (steady...).

I'm depressingly available, apart from the British Open week, and the first and last weekends in August.

I'd be up for being involved in the next competition.

Just getting my golf swing back (well, what I had of one) so will hopefully be in a position where I can hit the ball around the course!

Southport'd be fine with me, not played there but sure I could manage to get myself up the coast.

I could make it.

Set a date and I'll be there. I think I'm gonna be at the next three European Tour events upto the Open at Birkdale but the weekend after the Open is good with me.

26th/27th July?

Mid-July's the best shot for me, I think. Unlikely to be free after 20th July, sadly.
