Congratulations to Laura she is only 14 but what a prospect for the future if the LTA look after her

Great achievement, beating girls who were two and three years older than her. Let's hope she can stay healthy and cope with the ton of expectation thats bound to be heaped on her. Very photogenic too and already has a queue of agents lining up.

The bods at Wimbledon are so pleased that they've presented the trophy to her twice. They're keeping quiet about her Australian parentage.

I think we all have to remeber she is only 14 and she has to work on a few things like her court coverage but that will come with age I hope she doesn'tgo into the main draw next year as I feel she may get thrashed and it could dent her development but she has the game to be a world class player
