Yes and it's one of the most incredible games I've ever played, seriously.

Did also get Civ Revolution for 360 and lost 4 hours in one sitting, superb game also.

Playing the Civ demo on 360, feels just like Civ, might have to invest.

It's great. I was worried when I read they were trimming it down and making it for the casual gamer. But my first game must've taken me a day and half and it's so easy to control. They've made things like the resources simpler so there's less tatting about allocating squares and shit like that. I really like it, I may be gone some time

My copy of Alone in the Dark arrived today.

Let me tell you, avoid this, it's awful. The controls are about 5 years old.

If you HAVE to play it, rent it.

I'm gutted as I had amazingly high hopes for this one :(

Rent it, don't buy it.

You can complete it in 5 hours.

Agree with that. Played the demo, and found the 'seamless' dropping in and out of cut scenes a bit confusing, and the quicktime events a little bit hit and miss.

In the end it got annoying. Shame really because parts of it seemed quite good.
Don't call it a comeback

i went into game last night to pick it up, but when it came down to it i could not bring myself to lay out 40 notes on a game i dont know a lot about, ive never played a demos, seen any videos or owt.

in the end i took home Assassins Creed pre-owned for 15 notes instead - i like it. i understand the negative criticism it has earned but it looks and plays brilliant.

UT3 is a million times better than AC.

Buy it in Tesco for £32.

Just wait a week or so until some spotty faced yoof with more money than sense puts UT3 on the pre-owned shelf after not sleeping for 168 hours solid and accumulating 4,000 points...way better than spending £40 on the thing - which is probably very little different at its core to Unreal/Doom - which is now 100's of years old.

Aye thats probably why I like it!

Gameplay is still great, just with better graphics.

Vehicle capture the flag is superb.

UT2008 is indeed very very good, so long as you don't mind literally the same game as last year with better graphics.

Which I don't mind...so I'm happy!

Aye pretty much where I'm at.

Don't know why they've gone for a "bizarre story" for the campaign, but other than thats its the best fun I've had on the Xbox 360 thus far!

I borrowed Alone In The Dark off a friend. It has to be one of the most frustrating games ever!

I've only got as far as the first driving section in the game and I've pretty much given up. I must have attempted it about 50 times and failed. Now, about a third of the time it was down to my own lack of skill, but the other two thirds? Idiotic AI, Impossible car physics and most annoying of all completely random deaths.

I really want to like this game because it looks amazing and is more like an interactive blockbuster film than a game, but it's worn my patience so thin I now hate it!

Rent it or borrow it and if you can deal with its 'quirks' you might find a good game. But other than that AVOID!
Don't call it a comeback

I dont doubt it, and after two evenings playing AC, despite how good it looks im totally bored of it. every mission is exactly the same?

calling at Tesco later!

Really rather enjoying UT3 at the moment. Co-Op campaing = +1 to any score I'd give it, every game should be co-op over LIVE! :D

Went back to Top Spin 3 as well, it's just not very good in my opinion, dull, drab, presentation is poor, music is repetitive (fools gold over and over and over) and the game just isn't very challenging or fun (on normal difficulty) and graphically it looks sub-par...chalk this one up as a MAJOR disappointment for me.

i agree with you on that every game on live should be co-op, think thats what lets call of duty 4 down, ut3 i was pretty surprised by it, its not that bad, i wouldn't have normally gone for that type of game, as for topspin 3 its playable but frustrating, at the moment i,m in between playing lego indiana jones and civilization both very addicting games enjoying them both.
