Was going to get UT3, but I've heard a lot of negative stuff about.

Decided to hold out for GoW2 - which uses the same game engine but about 100 times as much.....roll on November!

UT3 is better than GOW.

Don't see how people can play in the third person. Its just not right!

You are just so, so, SO wrong in my opinion BWFCI.

UT3 has a 3rd person view when on the board anyway!

Well fair do's its an opinion. I just couldn't get excited about GOW. Don't really like third person shooters so that doesn't help. But I found it bland and repetitive.

Just about opinions I guess.

Far preferred COD4 and R6V2 etc.

Recently 'rediscovered' GoW. I'd almost forgotten how good it was.

Looks great in HD too.

well i,ve just gotten back into GOW, well tried, but it just dosent appeal to me no more, anyway after seeing bits of E3 2008 trailers, reviews and previews i,m getting rather excited, the new dashboard features such as 8 party chat, and also the announcement of FINAL FANTASY 13 is coming to a xbox 360 near you, plus the new trailer for RESIDENT EVIL 5 just looks amazing.

with missing footy that much I have been playing Fifa 08 again for the last couple of days, it never got much play before, usually only when mates were round, think and I have only completed one season in manager mode.

So I updated the squad to include all the latest signings and shipped out the gonners n'that, then played a couple of friendlies to get my touch back. Elmander is Shit-hot by the way!!!

Then went on Live, will the interactive leagues fire up again when the new season starts? And when playing live it does the old ‘updating squad’ bit at the beginning, but when its done the new signings are not there. Is this because its 08 and because the seasons over and that’s it, or will everything update when the new season kicks off? then if this is the case, there seems little point in anyone buying Fifa 09???

Also, I cant do it on live - what do i have to do to win a match!?!?, I must be shite! I havent won a single match except on penalties! My opponents are always too good?

I doubt they'll update the sqauds for 08-09 season for Fifa 08, Fifa 09 out soonish with 10vs10 online in it!!

As for winning online, pass quicker, pass like you're Arsenal!

Just back from town, bought Saints Row for £4 from CEX, then I was walking back to the car and I found a copy of FIFA 08 on the floor, in the box, still sealed. I picked it up, hung around for 10min to see if anyone came to claim it, they didn't, so I took it home.

Result.
