The Greatest EVER......................Showdowns

Post by Soldier_Of_The_White_Army » Sat Aug 09, 2008 4:22 pm

Let's fast it, there's been some classics, especially under Sergio Leone, with the likes of Eastwood, Bronson, Van Cleef, plus Kilmer's Doc Holiday in Tomstone, but which is the best of all time?

The help you in your decision, here's a few of them:

Once upon a time in the West:

The Good The Bad and the Ugly:

For A Few Dollars More:

A Fist Full of Dollars:

The gunfight at the Ok Coral (tombstone):

Doc Holliday vs. Johnny Ringo (Tombstone):

Unforgiven:

My own personal favortie will always be Bronson/Fonda 'Once upon a time of the West'

Chris Walken at the end of The Deer Hunter. A classic.

Joe Pesci in Casino.

Probably the best IMO Larry Olivier and Hoffman in Marathon Man. Is it safe?

This showdown much more resembles the Andy Kaufman vs Jerry Lawler showdown.

No clips of the actual showdown but heres the prefight buildup

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uQlB99WCuk

and heres the post fight (couple months later) interview

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv73yzYu ... re=related

This truly dwarves those other showdowns listed.
