I've been doing that for the past few weeks and watched that episode two days ago. Terrific watch no matter how many times I see it.

Speaking of which I hear Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is worth a visit to the flicks
Aye tis a good one that near the end. I think my favourites are the one in Carantan, and the one were that pyscho lieutenant runs across the german gunners to get somewhere.Batman wrote:Verbal wrote:hisroyalgingerness wrote:Coming to the end of my Band of Brother run. I know, but if I recall that episode is a bit like thatBatman wrote:it's nothing like BoB though pal, it's more like Schindler's List
no action, more tears
And Verb, totally agree. After watching Heiliger shoot himself with the Luger and Guarnere and Toye losing their legs watching Spiers peg it past tanks is an awesome moment

How else would a loom issue death warrants? They'd have to be on cloth - is it the binary you're worried about? Would you be happier if they were in hex?Batman wrote:wanted
it was just bobbins
i mean come on, a loom that issues death warrants, on cloth, in binary?
Should they have used some sort of sewing machine instead (it could really be bobbins, then...)
I'm intrigued now - I want to see this film

phew! beacuse i thought you meant Ironman, which i thought was great.Batman wrote:wanted

Yeah, its plain daft that wanted, like that bath that jesus has pissed in - kick the shit out of someone, stab em shoot em etc, run em a nice bath, 10 minutes later they are all better again! wtf!?
but its still watchable i reckon, it has some great effects, also very violent - like when he uses that bloke as a human sheild and his hand in the back of his head shooting folk out of his face! haha

Just bobbins? A Lloom? So, it's a film about weaving? like a sequel to Silas Marner?

Me too. Perhaps in the sequel it'll be a commodore 64 issuing the death warrants in BASIC.Puskas wrote:How else would a loom issue death warrants? They'd have to be on cloth - is it the binary you're worried about? Would you be happier if they were in hex?Batman wrote:wanted
