This is the game 2008 should have been, the pace is PERFECT. not too fast not too slow, just right. Passing is crisp and the ball feels

Grapics have improved alot .. but cant think of many other positives than that to be honest ... not even close to fifa. This is just not the game is used to be, feels like your playing with robots with jerky movements, the passing is unrealistic as it just pings to a player like a magnet, the only difference between a good player like messi is they move around like a maniac on drugs, keepers are commical (i could go on and on) i feel like i should be playing this on an arcade machine and not my xbox 360, you would think with how they only spend about 5 minutes making the blocky eyesore menu's etc they would be well ahead on the gameplay side.. but in my opinion its poor and i expect you to come back fighting Batman saying its better than Fifa etc but the truth is ... it just isnt. Very disapointed

wanted to get both this year.

i was a big fan of the SSX series on the PS2, but no titles have appeared on the the 360!?

i,ve been playing pure all week, that is pretty good, and very addictive.

give pro evo a good go today, just cant get into it this year, tried that where you select 1 player too, and i hope it aint going be the same as be a legend because if it is then i wil lnot be getting pro this year, it was just way way too fast and you couldnt even get into the game.

Pure is AMAZING. One of the best racers I've played in donkeys!! Were it not for FIFA 09 and LittleBigPlanet (PS3) I'd be playing it every time I had a spare minute.

pre-ordered it at Game, but its £40 there - them points add up though...

It's from Disney studio's yet, but they could just be the publishers.

I'm sure some of the SSX devs ended up working on it.

gutted - called at to two tescos and an asda ont way home from work, no fifa 09 for the 360 anywhere (plenty for ps3). i friggin work in manc too, but wasnt expecting demand being that high. had to nip out to pick my brother up tonight, called at morrisons, they had a few left but it was full 40 notes. the tight cnut i am i left it! if im gonna pay 40rips id rather get my points from game as ive reserved a copy, also could trade in 08 while im at it.

Hmm had a few games of the demo, seems weird like they always do at first, not too difficult though I've won every game 1 or 2 nil in the 5 minutes, dunno if this AI suits my playing style more or not yet. Collisions are interesting, reckon its probably an improvement anyway.

Oh and oddly free kicks in the middle 35 yards out mean everyone is stood in a space about 2 yards by 2 yards on the edge of the box.

Myself, a few non-forum mates and Batty are now in a "clan" on Fifa 09. It's absolutely incredible.

We're playing as Arsenal because EVERYONE plays as Chelsea or Man Utd and it tips the balance unfairly if you actually play as a team you like, so we came to agree that Arsenal suited how we like to build throughout the pitch! We've got 4 spaces in the "first team" available if anyone wants in.

We play custom formation of 4-2-3-1 with custom tactics and we've got the 2 centre back slots free, a defensive midfielder and a centre of park style player to spray the ball around.

Seriously, we played this mode almost all day, it is INCREDIBLE!
