Cole got it cos of a number of things, and the best that could come of this would be him to quit international football so we can have 11 players giving their all who the nation can get behind. big parts of this nation will always struggle to get behind that tw@t (insert you own alleged ashley cole getting behind jokes here).

Not many footballers I'd wish permenant injury on but he's one of 'em, and I don't care that he's english.

Lampard(and pretty much anyone who isn't Rooney, Gerrard, Beckham or Walcott) would have got booed, there's no doubt about it. But if for instance, Wayne Bridge had done what Cole did, then I doubt he'd have got booed. Fact is Cole has been, and is, a bit of a knob so leaves himself open to more vociferous abuse.

Cole doesn't need to retire at all. Fact is he is our best left back, and the only guy who can challenge him(Bridge) is either always injured or never playing first team football.

As for the last line Dibs, sorry but I just think that's a load of tosh mate. The whole wishing harm on a footballer just doesn't sit with me. He's not out there doing crimes or hurting people with malice, he's just an overpaid big charlie who acts like a knob.

I know what p*ssed me off about it , it wasn't just "a mistake" it was the casual contempt he showed when making that back pass, like "Feck me nowt to worry about with this lot" and he was bloody careless!
Cappello's reaction was a picture, I hope he reminds Cole of his gaff this morning in some choice Italian

I dislike Cole greatly, but I wouldn't boo him for making a mistake. I despise Rooney, but I wouldn't boo him for making a mistake either. Everybody makes mistakes and footballers are still human beings. I also don't think it's right to boo players off at half-time because they are drawing 0-0. The majority of fans who go to England games tend to support smaller clubs and I think they get a bit carried away with the "occasion" of England games as it's not something they get to experience at club level. I don't think Wycombe fans, for example, would boo their own left back in a home game if he had done the same thing.

I disagree with bits of your post apart from the quote but its just opinion

The last line, well fair play you are clearly a bigger man than me but I can't f*ckin stand him and his ilk and the fact they can earn a gastronomical wage whilst not giving two sh*ts about any other form of 'life' other than themselves (faux badge kissing brigade) just makes me want rid, and a nasty injury seems the best way to go about it. I don't wish it on many, barely anyone else actually (probably not even Robbie Savage) but thats the way it is. Fair play though I understand your issue with it and I wish I didn't feel like that but fact is if Pogatetz or whoever snapped his leg off I think I'd cheer.

I wouldn't boo Cole for that error. It was an honest mistake, no matter how incredibly stupid it was. I think booing your own players should be reserved for laziness or Joey Barton-style violence.

fully in agree, by the way, Ashley cole got an hamstring injury and cant play on Wednesday is this true or just he dosent want to face england fans?
