It's out friday mate, but loadsa people have it early since most online retailers sent em out yesterday!

Anyone else playing the 360 version? Found it very funny to see SONY PLAYSTATION adverts in the champions league mode :D :P

This part of the Eurogamer review sums it up for me :
But it lacks FIFA's coaxing feedback - the greens and reds acknowledging good movement and involvement during the game - and in a mode where the significance of good movement is amplified so considerably, the fact FIFA kicks the PES movement code so hard around the park that you could stitch lines on it, throw on laminate and sell it at JD Sports, is rather damaging

I take it that's your approach to it? I'm not liking the 'not simple' bit, though...

Yep, and whilst its graphically a bit dodgy, its extremely good fun. My particular favourite is the "Septic Revenge" mini-game whereby you spray shit all over houses to lower the real estate value whilst a friend drives the septic tank around :D

But it is indeed pretty dodgy looking at times, but I find it fun.

FD have you heard much about Far Cry 2?

I can't wait for it, but apparently the save system is a big problem and the graphics aren't so good is what I've heard.

I haven't I'm afraid. :( I loved the original Far Cry on PC but every one since I've found to be average or worse. The only thing I've had a crack on is the level editer (ages ago though, before the game was even finished) and I thought that was pretty decent and had some great potential.

So it's rather been off my radar.

Dead Space is the game people should be looking at purchasing next. I can't say too much but trust me on this, it's mind blowing, one of the most incredible looking games since Gears of War, the atmosphere and sound are top notch as well, you need this game!

Used to be but that's over a year ago now. There's a few blog articles on how to do it IIRC but best to try first opening yer window with LAN and Wireless, dragged a box round them and try to bridge connections, if that doesn't work then further technicalities are required which are detailed online.

The sound is so poor on this one it's a better game to have it on quiet/silent and play some music on your stereo.

I actually think the game is alright, but don't see why the transfers are so out of date. El Hadji Diouf signed for Sunderland on July 28 yet he's still at Bolton! Robbie Keane signed for Liverpool around the same time yet he has been moved to Liverpool. How hard is it for some bloke at Konami to register the players properly on September 1st and be done with it? Unbelievable that even a transfer as high profile as Berbatov isn't made.

I've had Fable 2 since the weekend.

It's game of the year material...just stunning.

I'd recommend avoiding the ltd edition version though, they've removed all the good stuff and the bonus dvd it comes with is pretty crappy!

Been hammering Far Cry 2 this weekend its absolutely unbelievably good.

If you like FPS games then this is a MUST buy.

It feels like a game where you can go and do anything anytime you like. Which it pretty much is. The first couple of hours playing it are hellish. You die die die and die again. But suddenly it all clicks.

There are tons of different missions each with different rewards/purposes. The game looks and sounds amazing.

For me it is just about as good as it gets.

Another reccomendations : Dead Space. The best sound you'll hear in a videogame to date (if you have 5.1) and wonderfully tense to boot. Amazing visuals and the lack of a HUD in game is a masterstroke and done to perfection. If you like games like Resident Evil 4, BioShock etc you must buy this immediately.
